Our Dining Room comfortably seats sixteen guests plus the entire Wildman Lake Lodge crew at meal time.  The dining room harvest table is set with elegant Bavarian china, especially crafted for Wildman Lake Lodge by Christian Seltmann, of Seltmann-Weiden  , Europe's leading porcelain manufacture.

A toast with returning guests.  We enjoy a very high percentage of return guests each season, like this group from the Napa Valley Wine Country in California who come for the great fishing, wonderful food and to share some of their fine wines with Butch & Kathy.

Your hostess         Kathy King, and her professional kitchen staff will treat you daily with delicious American fare featuring garden vegetables, homemade breads, steak, poultry, pastas and of course, "the catch of the day." Kathy will surely test your will power with absolutely sinful desserts and fresh cookies, cakes and pastries baked daily in the Wildman Lake Lodge kitchen.

Your Accommodations:

Comfortable Guest Rooms, are very nicely appointed with knotty pine and Alaska decor.  Each guest room has a large  adjoining  bathroom with a piping hot shower.  The beds are very cozy with soft sheets and warm comforters. 

Bathrooms with Shower:  Each of our cabins has a full bathroom and shower with plenty of piping hot water.

Couples Guest Rooms:  We can make up your room with either twin or king size bedding for our visiting couples.  You will find that our cabins are clean, warm and comfortable with 24 hour a day power and hot water baseboard heat.

Whether you're an avid fly fisherman , enjoy spin-casting or even a first timer, our experienced sport fishing guides at Wildman Lake Lodge will get you into the fish and show you the best techniques for catching them.

 

Wildlife Viewing

 

This is the real stuff! Huge Alaska brown bear, bald eagles, Pacific walrus, moose, caribou, fox and wolves are our only neighbors at Wildman Lake Lodge. Whether a professional or amateur photographer, you will get photos that you never thought possible. Bring plenty of film.

Bird Hunting & Fishing

Beginning in mid-August we can combine upland bird hunting for Alaska's Willow Ptarmigan with your sport fishing trip. This is a great "Cast and Blast" package which has been featured on several outdoor cable TV programs.

Big Game Hunting

Master Guide Gary "Butch" King, Jr., Safari Club International's 2000 North American Professional Hunter of the Year and Dallas Safari Club's 2004 Outfitter of the Year, has been guiding big game hunters in this area since 1971. Guided hunts for trophy Alaska moose, huge Alaska brown bear are available at both Wildman and Cinder River Lodges.
