Chinook Salmon and Steelhead
Wildman Lake Lodge
on the remote Alaska Peninsula . . .

Fishing Report for June 15 to June 22, 2008

It was an excellent week for bright King (Chinook) Salmon.  Steelhead were numerous on the fly out trips, while our local artesian river was crystal clear and produces several good steelhead and ample char and a good number of nice rainbow in the 14 to 26 inch range.  Sockeye numbers increased all week and limit catches were enjoyed on our home river by everyone. Rainbow creek was red hot this week on mouse patterns, mini burgundy woolly-buggers and caddis flies.
